Are these original San Disk or Class A Fakes? Seems the pic doesn't have the R after the San Disk Logo. Just asking since I really want to get one...

I got mine for $55 at buy.com (it was real), and a few weeks ago Circuit City had it for $50.

Is there any advantage to getting the gaming stick over this? I know the 4gig gaming stick is a bit more expensive but I'm turning my psp into a red monster. The gaming stick would be a nice addition to the red face/back plate I ordered.

I wonder where I can get a red analog stick...

The difference between the mem sticks are the colors. That's it. And it doesn't matter since it will be inside your psp, where you don't see it.

I don't know about the gaming versions but the black ones which are the Ultra II versions are much faster in reading and writing and is worth the little extra money!!!

How fast is it? It takes me around an hour to fill a 4 gig sony "class A" fake stick with anime (Deathnote 1-35). If it only takes half of that using a san disk 4 gig, I will probably buy one right now.

that memory stick is actually slightly slower than the transparent Red 4gb sandisk memory stick which im saving up to get at target. they have them for 89 USD.. i think its worth getting it in stores than online..

You can find a bunch of them for a similar or lower price at Amazon.com, even the Ultra II is just $5-10 more than the regular blue Sandisk version. I have a 1 & 2 GB, but I might wait a few more months until the price comes down again to around $50. The gaming and regular stick are the same, just labeled differently.

not really.
i own the regular stick. 2gb
my friend owns the gaming stick. 2gb
we both put the same game on each stick and set the clock speed the same. then we started the game at the exact same time. and apparently his got to the main menu of the game first by a little bit. notice his memory stick was the gaming stick, mine was the regular one

A couple weeks ago frys.com had a 4gb Lexar Utra II mem stick pro duo for $29.99. You might want to wait for another sale like this.

Ohh man an hour to fill up the 4 gig with anime that's mah gay!!! Seriously I fill mine up so much faster than that, and having a fake stick does make it slower than the regular sticks. Should never buy fake stuff!! Spend the extra dough for the Ultra II sticks it's much better.
