This is now 'The Sword Show-Off Thread' any of you hobbyist, collectors, even martial artists can now show off your sword here in this thread. Just post a picture of your sword and give us a few details such as..

What type of sword is it?
How much was the sword?
Where was it made?
Is it battle ready?
Weapon specs?

I've recently bought a new sword from www.kingofswords.com which has proven to be a reliable site to buy swords of just about any nature. Another good site recommended by kcajblue is www.trueswords.com.

Well here is the new sword I bought from www.kingofswords.com it is a replica of a sword from the anime show Dragon Ball Z. The sword itself is modeled after one of the many characters from the series named Trunks. I've always enjoyed Dragon Ball Z, so I couldn't just pass up the chance to buy a sword replica from one of my favorite characters of the show. The sword is not battle ready as its meant to be more of a replica but that doesn't mean its entirely defenseless the sword itself has 440K Stainless Steel Blade.

440K Stainless Steel Blade
The version I bought also includes the custom red/blue hard scabbard with backstrap for a grand total of $57.00 USD ( Not including shipping )

Well I've come to the conclusion that www.kingofswords.com is not fake at all. After reading threw a ton of forums kingofswords is a real company that sell real products. Only complaints I’ve found is they’re a bit notorious for being late on orders. So I'm going to change this thread into my "The Sword Show-Off thread". :rofl: I'll change the name and post some pictures of the sword I'm getting in my first post.

I bought it for $57 USD and shipping was about $15 USD. I also added insurance on the sword for a few bucks.

Yes, I've noticed that as well. It could possibly be from the fact that they're certain copyright issues that the company had to work around in order to create this replica or as you said the sword from the show does has many slight variations with small changes here and there between the TV series and the movies.

Yeah it doesn't really matter all that much to me. The sword looks great and close enough to Trunks Sword.

Yeah collecting cool swords is a hobby that runs in my family. I think its just one of those things that attracts people. Having cool stuff that can be used as a deadly weapon if in the wrong hands! :p ( Or quite possibly the right hands ;) )

its not really a display sword, but its not really battle ready.
even though its 440 stainless steel, its pretty sharp.

I have knives and daggers, I throw mine at things (obviously when no one is around). I'm trying to perfect my aim at the bird table thingy in the garden, I've only ever got a knife to stick in it from a 10 meter distance a few times. But that's what I do with mine, I'm currently thinking about getting some Shuriken's (throwing stars) :D

Check out this cool modification, I made it with a Freedom Of Information pen that I got FREE a while back (it's not as good as it looks, the spring inside jams the blade so it doesn't re-conceal itself properly)...

...This gives PEN KNIFE a whole new meaning! :D

I know, that's one of the many reasons I would never have it in my pocket. Also I would look really dumb if I accidently stabbed myself in the leg with it whilst being in my pocket! lol
