I'm guessing you know windows a lot better than linux.

I suggest you dual boot. Run windows XP and ubuntu. To dual boot you need XP install and you need to make a hdd partition. Then run the Ubuntu live CD and install it in the partition.

If this all confuses you, best stick to XP or vista.

If you compile much, I suggest you go with Linux. If you're just a normal PC user and use lots of games/programs, go with Windows.

I doubt you'll need linux for any reason, and seeing as all pc's come with windows, (With the exception of a few dells) then you're good to go.

Windows, obviously. Linux is like Windows 95, so don't get it.

There are 203823 users with ZERO posts. Hmm perhaps I've used the Member list in a wrong way, but I think it's possible because there are many people just registering to download from the forum...

EDIT: and 19340 users with 1-10 posts...
EDIT2: and about 1881 "active users" (more than 25 posts)

BTW: JKKDARK ist the user with the second most posts

Windows, Linux only looks nice. I was running Linux from a 20gb partition last month and I didn't like it, thou I don't like Windows either...

Mac os x is not good for me, linux is the most powerful os out there, if you plan to hack, crack, phreak, code something, avoid some virus then go linux.

Linux is great for me, I use backtrack linux and I love it!!!.

how so?

Its just doesn't feel as tight as linux and even windows. Its not all that user friendly it just feels so loose and sloppy.
