PSP Upgrader/Downgrader is an easy to use program to make upgrading, downgrading, and installing a custom firmware very easy.

The lite version doesn't have any official sony updates, but it can download them automatically.

Great!! Does this means that if I wanted to downgrade from 3.52m33 to 1.50 (to fix flash0) and them back to 3.52m33 I could do that? Im going to try it.

A few questions...

I have PS1 saves. The last time I upgraded (from 3.0-3.03 OE-A) I had to make new saves. Will this also be a problem when I upgrade to the new 3.4-3.5 M33 CF's?

I'm always reluctant to flash my psp but this application makes it too convenient for me not to finally upgrade.

I'm actually gonna use this, because I haven't kept up to date with the m33 updates, I'm going to use it to get there from 3.4 OE. Great app man.

this is a great idea of an app. i gave up on thinking about messing with upgrades and downgrades around the FW 2.1 mark and so just stick with 1.5.
Unfortunately tho, i own an ibook and thus can't use it. Anyone know if it is possible to port this software to apple and if so is anyone able to do it?

Are you refering to the size of the downloads? if so the full version is 135 MB

it's pathetically slow only getting 34 Kb while i'am able to get over 200 Kb for downloading Disturbia from video.stage6.com

I had Same Problem. It's the limit of the server so they can get u to sign up

bloody hell 135 mb at 34kbs thatll take about 3 hours!! maybe its on a different serever i also think he should release updates instead of the full thing again

Yes it does take abnout 3 hours. However once you have downloaded it, there is an update Application that runs to keep it up to

Hi, can someone please help me. I got the official firmware 2.81 and i want to downgrade to 1.5 but i heard you need grand theft auto of something. If i use this program will i need gta or anything or will it do it automatically. What are the chacnes of bricking. Has anyone done it from 2.81? Please get back to me asap. I am new to this so please help.

has any1 actually used this app yet??? I wana downgrade my PSP from 3.something... do I still need gta or lumines? seriously these forums are great for homebrew but there's no propper explination as to how things work! I had a look at the readme and it basically says install to start but thats it.

I really think the homebrew scene would improve if there where better FAQ's out there! it must seem easy for the people who wright them but for noobs like me it all looks far too scary! :(

Will this app get me firmware 3.52 M33 wihtout killing my PSP? and would this be the best firmware to get?

My PSP has firmware 2.71 and on the left hand side it has IC6001 and on the right hand side it has IC1003 on the motherboard. So I beleive I have a TA-082 motherboard.

It seems way to easy. Can someone confirm? Also how does this work? Do I flash it with the software and it copies the needed files to memory card and the next game I start the psp with the GTA unpatched game it installs the firmware?

I'm new to PSP hacking. Please help me.

i did all of it step by step but when i go to install frimware it says cannot start game wtf.


EDIT: this didnt work so i just did it manually, now im on 3.40 oe and can play madden. just do it manually this dosnt work .

hi hopefully fingers crossed i will be getting my psp v3.52 converted into a v1.50 using pandoras battery.
I have a few questions , what is the latest thing with homebrew, is it still impossible (without pandora's battery to downgrade a v3.52 psp)
and how do i convert a v1.50 to 3.52m33 what are the benifits of doing this and does this thing bob has done upgrade my psp any answers all welcome and thankyou
