Would it be possible to make a clone of Skype for DS, with full voicechat support and emotes?

Possible, but extremely difficult; as it's not open source.

Right, there's no code available to make third-party Skype clients, so I doubt it. You could look into the "Wifi Voice Chat" application if you want something sorta similar to Skype.

thier is an dsvoip but its a test thing its some whare on the main dcemu ds page
