A new stable version - 4.115 - and a new test version - 5.000 - of the best video encoding application for the PSP/PS3 (and also PC, iPod & others) have been released by Winnydows.

4.115 changes:

Some fixes.
App work with any codec pack now.
All app conflicts solved.
Fixed info in Add-Remove programs.
Removed ffdshow dependency and ffdshow removed from main installer.
Manual interlace detection.
Helux YV12 decompressor replaced to XviD.
Components update - x264, Mencoder, DGIndex, XviD.


Version 5.0 information:

Version 5.0 in active developing-testing fase now . Repport to support forums if found some bugs in 5.0.
Version 5.0 present more simple use and rich WPF design. Now used only base WPF functions. After finish writing important functions routine will be written more interesting WPF design.


Both versions use AviSynth for filtering. This gives the highest possible encoding quality.

Import formats:
AVI DIVX ASF MPG MPE MPEG VOB TS M2P D2V MOV QT 3GP HDMOV RM RAM RMVB RPX SMI SMIL MKV OGM WMV DVR-MS PMP FLV.

Export formats:
PMP AVC, MP4 PSP 3.03 OE, MP4 PSP 3.30, MP4 iPod, MP4 iPod 640, MP4 PS3, MP4, AVI, AVI DV PAL, AVI DV NTSC, MPG, MPEG-2 PAL, MPEG-2 NTSC, FLV.

Minimal system requirements:
Windows Vista, XP SP2, 2000
Microsoft Framework 2-3 for XviD4PSP 4.1
Microsoft Framework 3 (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=70848) for XviD4PSP 5.0

Full versions include AviSynth 2.5.7 (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57023), XviD 1.1.3 (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Koepi_XviD.htm) and few splitters.
Version 5.0 works with Microsoft Framework 3.0 only.

Awesome!
I almost forgot about this,I love this application and I remember that I was downloading a new update..like daily,haha! I thought they were done,and now this! Woot!

Yup, I think it was in May or June the last update came, after many releases with bugfixes. I've been expecting a new update due to updated codecs and filters. This is, and will stay, my favourite video converter. :)

is is one any faster because when i convert things it takes to long
thats why I'm using win mp4 for now 20 min shows transfers like in10 mins or less
