make selfboot cd with already made image?

i have a nero non-self-bootable nero image and i want to make it bootable.

is this possible or do i need to have a directory with the elf files etc etc in order to make a bootable cd?

What is it that you're trying to selfboot? It's not really possible to turn a non-selfbooting image into a self-booting image.
