Microsoft's 'Games with Gold' initiative will make the jump to Xbox One in 2014, the firm has announced.
"Great news: Access to free games each month is coming for Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One," revealed Microsoft's Larry Hryb via Twitter (https://twitter.com/majornelson/status/401072182748393472). "Details coming later in 2014," he added.

Games downloaded during their free period remain available to the user for good, even if their Gold subscription expires.
Games offered through the service so far include Fable 3, Defense Grid: The Awakening, Assassin's Creed 2, Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 and DR2 prologue Case Zero, Magic 2013, Rainbow Six Vegas, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and more recently Halo 3.
