With the redesign of the PSP to PSP Slim, the remote and earphone is changing for the PSP-2000. The remote now has a reconfigured button layout. We're assuming that the PSP-2000 requires this new remote due to the changed AV-compatible (http://reviews.dcemu.co.uk/closer-look-at-psp-s-av-tv-cables-71723.html) headphone jack.
