In the gmdl version that came with version .5 of map this i'm getting this error.

"Google Satellite test failed. Maybe an idea to change connection."

Anyone expierience this? My connection is perfectly fine. But if I press enter it will continue making tiles until the same error occurs. Unfortunately the error happens on just about every tile.

Google blocks the download of satellite tiles (so hybrid as well) after around a thousand or so. It's an IP based block and lasts a few hours (pull up maps.google.com and switch to satellite view - it won't work either once you're blocked).

Good for me that i own lots of IP Adresses then *Lol*

I think a range over 2000 adresses will take me a while to get a ban on ;)

seems as if i'm still "banned"...

Suppose I should get to a different ip address. The only odd thing is if i do go to maps.google.com it works perfectly fine. But as soon as I try to download the tiles through gmdl to select what areas and zoom levels I want is when the problem occurs.

Any more input?

Btw i'm leaving for seoul tomarrow morning and was hoping to get this map made before then.
