I have known for over a month that a new exctiing way to load homebrew and more was coming to the PS2, the Vast Memory Card aka external modchip will revolutionize the PS2 Scene.

Heres a video of it in action (DCEmu doesnt support piracy so remember that but this can be used to boot homebrew)

At this time i know that Mr Modchips (http://www.mrmodchips.co.uk/catalog/index.php?ref=20&affiliate_banner_id=2) in the UK will be carrying the VAST, but youll have to be quick when they do arrive as i expect they will be a wanted item.

I wonder if something similar could be done with the PS3.

It should now that people can boot a menu (easily) from their Memory Card...

...I can boot homebrew from a "Swap Magic" boot disc, but this will be somewhat better to have as I won't need to place a disc to boot then change it over :)

Swap Magic is a tiresome process, bring on the Vast!
