Over 10,000 PS4 consoles were sold on eBay last weekend.
A rep from the auction site told GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/10-000-ps4s-sold-on-ebay-last-weekend/1100-6416261/) that between November 15th and 17th over two PS4s were sold every minute and that over 15,000 of Sony’s next-gen machine have been sold since November 1st.
A quick look on the site now shows lots of day one launch stock for the machine – although the scarcity of such hardware on the High Street is leading to some quite elevated prices.
There’s been lots of eBay activity for current-gen (or last-gen?) hardware too, with gamers presumably selling off their current wares in the hope of upgrading.
Over 14,000 used consoles have been sold on the site since November 15th – that’s up ten per cent on the day days immediately beforehand.
