In the readme it says "Can decode 128kbit MP3 at 70mhz CPU and 54mhz BUS". Does this mean that it plays 320kb/s mp3s as only 128kb/s?

Hi! :)

It can play 320kb/s (but only 44.100 hz).
I tested it mostly with 128kb/s, but users reported it works fine with other bitarate (160, 192, 320) also with CPU at 70mhz. :)

Thanks for the reply. :) I tried it out, and think it is a very good app.
When playing a mp3, it says Bitrate : 128 [192] kbit
How is the number in the [ ] different from the number not in the [ ]?

I love this app, although I tried 2 tracks and one was playing fast for some reason. Also, the one thing I would add is a fast forward feature. There's too many songs that start off shitty or that's almost unbearable until after the intro.

if the track is running fast try to decrease the cpu this may help.

Hi! :)

If a track runs too fast it's probably not at 44.100hz.
LightMP3 plays fine only mp3 with a sample rate = 44.100hz. :)

You're right, after checking it's 22hz. Actually, the rest of my mp3's all seem 44hz so far so I'll be good to go.
