ME Award 2013-nominated game available on Google Play.
Sonic Dash (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/app-of-the-day-sonic-dash/020810), the endless runner developed by Sega's UK studio Hardlight, arrived on the App Store back in March and has achieved downloads in the millions – as well asME App of the Day. The one thing that seemed to leave some mobile users angered, however, was Android disregard.
That issue has now been resolved though, as the the freemium game can be found on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sega.sonicdash), sating the needs of Android gamers.
Chris Southall, CTO, Hardlight, said: "Whenever we’ve talked about Sonic Dash, someone has asked when it will be released on Android. This level of enthusiasm made it very easy when deciding to create the Android version."
He's not wrong – Android was in high demand when the company announced the game was an ME Awards finalist.
