I have recently upgraded to 3.40 oea. at first when i went to recovery menu I loaded the configuration and it opened fine... but for some reason now when i go to recovery and try to go to configuration menu. the screen goes blank (with the recovery menu blue color) and then psp turns off. in an earlier post someone told about formating flash 1 but i dont know how to do that
could someone help me with this problem please.

go to your system settings and under there youll find "restore default settings" do that and recovery should work fine for you

thanks for the reply, but restoring to default settings hasnt corrected the problem, and now i am getting error 80020148 when running my umd

EDIT: Ok, problem solved... I did some more digging and found the programme called :flash 1 formatter v2: its tutorial is here:

I gave the link so that if someone else has the problem, they can easily find it.

thanks again chameleon for the initial help.
