The amp bundle wont be out for awhile yet. Beyond that, with the right cabling, you could hook it up to a standard guitar amp if you have one lying around. I've done this and the sound is nice.

I think its really lame that the sound of the chord totally cuts out (doesnt even fade out) when you change to strum a different chord. Smells like bad homebrew.. yet its in the shops. Hmm.

How is that lame? When you change to strum a different chord on say, an electric guitar for example, unless you've got equipment set up specifically to do otherwise, it mutes out the previous chord anyway. And i'm not sure what that "bad homebrew" comment is supposed to mean.

If you don't like it, then you don't like it. Fine. I'm just not sure how fair this particular comment is...

From early reviews it seems to have a lot of shortcomings/limits that could have been addressed. I'm still going to get it, but it looks like it won't be as "perfect" as I was hoping! Perhaps it should have been cheaper too!

I've heard people say the effects are crap too. Mind you, distortion usually sounds awful on chords other than power chords in my opinion!

I think its really bad, the idea is really cool but they messed up. It's hard to control the chords without muting the strings. The acoustic guitar sound is the only one that sounds decent, the rest of it sounds lame. And how often do you play chords on a distorted guitar? There is only a few songs to play along to and pretty boring songs imo. You have no idea what tempo you have to play in, because you can't set the song to a certain tempo. It's like singing karaoke and its waiting for you to sing a certain word. so dont buy this piece of crap.
