I'm intrested in hearing some thoughts on the best graphics for each system. So, I figured I could start a thread asking people to list systems and what game they think has the best graphics for that system. Here's my list:

Nintendo: Wizards And Warriors 2 - Iron Sword (actual graphics aren't that great, but the animation is amazing)
Genesis: Beyond Oasis
Turbografx: Air Zonk
Turbografx CD: Lords Of Thunder
Sega CD: Lunar
Super Nintendo: Tales Of Phantasia
Saturn: Radiant Silvergun
Playstation: Toss-up between Vagrant Story and Chrono Cross
N64: Conker's Bad Fur Day
Playstation2: Odin Sphere
Xbox: Conker's Bad Fur Day (seems wierd to have this game twice)
Gamecube: Resident Evil 4
Gameboy Advance: Golden Sun 2

What do you guys think?

GameCube: Legend Of Zelda - Twilight Princess

You really think TP has better graphics then RE4? The boss on the lake in RE4 blew my mind away. Then again, I played TP on the Wii. So part of me doesn't consider it a Gamecube title, lol.

I still say RE4 looks better though :p.

@Darth Paul:
I completely forgot about Shadow Of The Colosus!!! That game was amazing.

I left out the current gen consoles because they're still making games for them... But I see no harm in saying what has the best graphics so far.

Wii: Metroid Prime 3
Xbox360: Blue Dragon
PS3: Dunno cause I haven't really played anything on it, but I guess I'd have to say Motor Storm

I'd still give that to Oblivion...
2nd place would go to anything that uses the unreal engine (bioshock, gow)

SNES- DKC
Genesis-Vectorman
PS1-Spyro3
PS2-Okami
GC-Zelda TP
Xbox-Halo2
XB360-Bioshock/GOW
PS3-Resistance
That list is from what ive played, looking into the future COD4 looks amazing from the previews it even beat halo3 at E3 07, probably one of the best looking pc/console games coming out.

Lol, that list is awesome... Wasn't E.T on the Atari though?

Final Fantasy IX

Panzer Dragoon Saga

Why you gotta be dissing on my list, man? Lol

Vagrant story has way better 3D then Final Fantasy IX does. The dragon bosses are top notch.

Pretty full motion videos don't count!

I forgot about Dreamcast too :(.

Dreamcast: Marvel VS. Capcom 2 (I'm still amazed at how good that game looks)

LMAO!

Yeah, Vagrant Story has alot of stuff in it that isn't in the norm with RPGs... So it takes a while to get used to. It has the the most cinimatic and well exicuted story lines of it's time though.

I'm playing it on my PSP right now. I never beat it.

PS3-Resistance

WTF?!

Resistance has like ps2 graphics. Good game, but not pushing the ps3 at all.

Oblivion prob has the best graphics on PS3, better graphics than oblivion for XBOX360 too.

As an aside, for 2D Dreamcast graphics the winner is most definetly Guilty Gear X, which uses really high quality large sprites for it's characters.

I imagine UT3 will look about the same. The player model was very similar to some of the UT2k4 player models. Bioshock also should be mentioned. The textures give it a somewhat more... cartoony (for lack of a better word) look in comparison to gow and ut3, Still, some of the models have very similar builds to the ut2k4 series models

heavenly sword is like a piece of art, ashame the gameplay can't back that up. Its a beautiful looking game, as is oblivion.

Silent Hill for PSP looks really good. But the gameplay changed a lot since the demo though. Now it isn't over the shoulder view. :(

That was ages ago, this is a different demo. It's more like the original silent hill, and less of a RE4 rip-off.
