Everytime i try to format a mem stick using mspformat i get a message saying "Logical drive has more than a physical drive. Cannot handle it"

What am i doing wrong, whats going wrong or is it a simple thing to fix, i am running XP my mem stick is bigger 256mb its 2 gig and i am running custom firmware. Please help its got my head in bits.

Try formatting it using the PSP first.

Done that mate tried formatting so many different ways and still no joy, one thing i have noticed is i dont have service pack 2 installed on xp will that make a difference.
