Sega announced yesterday that they will bring Yakuza 2 to North America sometime in 2008. The recent Japanese announcement of Yakuza 3 for PS3 left many outside Japan wondering if there even was a second game, and if so why they had not heard of it.
Yakuza 2 is a direct sequel to the first game, putting players back in control of Kiryu Kazuma. Another assassination and gang war provides the backdrop for more face-smashin' good times in Yakuza 2.
After Yakuza 2 comes out, let's just hope we can get Yakuza 3 before the Playstation 5.
