Microsoft has released kernel (system software) 2.0.16547.0 via Xbox LIVE. According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_system_software#2.0.16547.0) this update includes: 'Some changes have been made to how child accounts are managed and created.' There are probably more changes in there, undocumented as usual.
