I hate to beat a dead horse. but could it be possible to use the ideas behind the usb host file in the Firmware Extender 1.5 and incorperated it with map this and the holux gpslim. If it can be used to run files from a pc like .XSO files and music, could it alos be used to read teh gps data from the gpslim. I also realized boosters devhook had a similar feature. this will most like be shot down but i figure its worth a try. until some one figure out how to make a new serial cable for teh slimthis is all i have. I dont have the money nor the guts to buy a new headset cable for my slim and experiment with it. Although i did have a slight idea. but ill post that in a different topic.
