Gamers turned out in record numbers for the Tokyo Game Show 2007 last week. Over the four-day event 193,040 journalists and consumers showed up, mostly to play Duel Love. That's a slight increase from the 193,411 visitors to TGS 2006. The biggest crowd showed up on Sunday, the last day of the show, with 66,072 visitors.
Organizers noted the show "has come to an end with successful."
Over 702 gamers were on display from 217 companies. In the words of the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association, co-sponsor of the event: "TGS 2007 has been festival it appeal a diversity of game fan to visitors."
Next year the show will be happening a bit later, from October 9-12, 2008.
