So wait what exactly does this do =P Does the new PSP Slim use .ptf as an extention? Instead of RCO's and this program coverts the .pft's to .rco's lol someone enlighten me =P

.ptf files are Sony official custom theme extentions

It would be better if this converts from RCO to PFT. Not PTF to RCO.

I agree because then you can easily switch themes using the xmb rather than going through the flashing process.

Don't Rush! (go slowly)

1.Download and unpack archives. Copy now the file “psp2ptfconv.exe” to any root of a non removable disk.

2.Copy the .PTF file which you want to convert onto the root where the “psp2ptfconv.exe” is.

3.Go now into “start” then “RUN” then enters “notepad”. Now the Windows [text] Editor should open. Go now onto the upper border under “file” and click “open” Now a small window should open and click on “type of file” and selects “all files”. And the column for “file name” type in test.rco and save the file to where the 2 other data is.

4.Go into “start” and then “RUN” and enter “cmd”. If you run it you should see drive letter where the files are stored this should look so e.g.: C: >. Type in “psp2ptf.conv.exe” which should the open and run [it will pause for a moment] and the .PTF file will be opened and changed to [another pause] Test.RCO. Now you must press enter and it will finish and exit.

5.Now the size of Test.RCO should be roughly 300kb. Copy with file rco and PSP on root your MEMORY stick.

6.Start converter under MEMORY stick in the XMB and presses then “circle” the program should then exit to the XMB. Now ther is an new folder in it is your converted PTF file which is now .RCO. Now put your psp into USB mode and open the newly created .RCO file in RCOeditor and everything should run smoothly.

Hope I could help! :)
