Hi im new to the custom firmware scene , ive just put on the 3.52 m33 firmware and im having a few problems with using the psx games , I have them all converted into the proper formats and to my knowlage i have put them in the right place as the guides have discribed.
they are located in x:PSP/GAME150/FINAL FANTASY TACTICS

i have both EBOOT.PBP and the KEYS.BIN files located there.

When i go into my psp the game is showing up where it is supposed to be and everything seems fine. but when i load it i see the screen begin to load ; but before the ps logo should appear the game exits and says 'The game could not be started. (8001002)'

I managed to get all the snes , ms, negeo , mame, sega emulatorss to work fine but the psx is the last thing i need to get working.

does anyone know whats going on with this. ?

any help would be appreciated

Put it in /PSP/GAME instead.

No, the kernel mode isn't important. As long as it's in /PSP/GAME it'll work.
