i tok my friends psp because of traveling. i want some emulaters on in but idk where to even start. he has a 2.0 psp,nothing done to it.need help to start from scratch.:confused:

Well, if you want emulators, you have several options.
You could downgrade to 1.5 or get a custom firmware.

Well, before I begin, you must check what motherboard your PSP has. Refer to the URL below to check if you have a TA-082.

If you have a TA-082, PM me.
If not, continue with my shitty guide.

Downgrade to 1.5 using this method:

For a custom firmware. You have to downgrade to 1.5 using the method above and I recommend using this custom firmware:

Then get update 4 for 3.52 M33:

As for ROMs, you're on your own.
I DO NOT recommend using Limewire to acquire ROMs, though. Very dangerous!

i have everything set up,but what is it suposed to do when u go into photos,mine just freezes then turns off??

Just keep trying with HEN until the screen turns green.

When the screen turns green, it means the PSP is patched and will run the downgrade.

Well, did you stick with 1.5 or go to 3.52 M33-4?

There are no themes for 1.5. (I think)

Most of the newer themes are for 3.52 M33-4.
