Yes. a lot of games will work with it. Make sure you know how to DLDI patch. If you don't know how then ask around the forum.

I can vouch for what jakor says.
I'm running oodles of S/NES ROMs and a buttload of homebrew on my GnM.
While quite a large number of homebrew works w/ the dldi patch, those that don't (if they're still being worked on) have it in the pipeline.
Almost everything here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS_homebrew) I am running or have run.
Stuff I'm finding on various homebrew forums is also on my GnM card and working fine.

I think it's time for me to invest in a larger capacity card, too :D
