For some time it will be, even if it will sell less than DS, the sales will be head strong, only difference would be 2000-3000:thumbup:

I think the newly released crisis core is also a factor in why psp sales are so high.

Japs love their final fantasy!

Novelty for new model.

Pokémon Dungeon 2 is selling more than Crisis Core, in Japan :D

The original FF7 was the best game ever. Now they're only trying to eat some more money on "FF7".

Enix, GO AWAY. We want again Square.

And now, do that FF7 remake on DS.

PSP Slim & Lite is a better portable device than the DS Lite. Sure, the games are not as original as some of the DS Lite games, but its other multimedia functions and far more advanced homebrew, give it more bang for your buck.

I'm not used to seeing the PSP on top, especially above the DS Lite sales. But this is good news. The Crisis Core PSP's are all sold out so trying to use that as an excuse won't fly.

The slimmer, lighter design of the new PSP as well as other built in features and improved quality of certain components and build, make it much more desirable to the Japanese market. More colors also helps too.

Lets face it, if you use some of the more recent high quality games for comparison, the PSP isn't as bad as the DS fanboys make it out to be. You just cannot compare the 2 as they are both totally different in what they try to deliver.

Go PSP Slim & Lite... and.... good job SONY!

This is because of the games, mainly Crisis Core, it may go down later, but it will be on top again when God of War Chains of Olympus arrives

Yeah psp will soon be back in the dumps as usual, and it will never come back. Lol if they Japanese like that slop that was FF7 then they will devour FF4 when the ds version comes out lol, and i forgot u about the new dragon quest that's ds only.
