It'll probably cost twice as much as the 60GB version.

They need to correct this line: * PPU x1, SPE x8
And replace it by: * PPU x1, SPE x6
As it should be.

About the rest it's up to Sony.

From CELL cpu yeah i know that. But you need to think on the ps3 side, that only 6 can be full used. One SPE is off and the other one is OS reserved. So as i say only 6 and for the OS reserved one you can still use it, but not in the way you use the other 6 SPE's.

Lol, thats what I was thinking :p

I have to wonder: Why would someone even say a HD of greater then 80GBs? That seems like an awful lot of space right there, I couldn't imagine you'd need any more.

I dont care about the space, just want to know if PS2 and PS1 BC is available xD.

Afterall the harddrive is interchangeable.

If this were real, and not just a crazy rumor; then this would certainly have ps2 backwards compatibility, just like the 80gb version. Obviously, this SKU would be designed to be the ultimate PS3 setup, being the only one with dual-HDMI outputs. This PS3 would be for those people who aren't afraid to spend tons of money.
