Namco Bandai has released a slate of new screenshots showing off its upcoming RPG Tales of Zestiria (http://www.joystiq.com/game/tales-of-zestiria), giving a glimpse at protagonists Alicia and Slay as they wander the game's lush overworld.
Announced last month (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/12/12/tales-of-zestiria-unveiled-for-ps3/), Tales of Zestiria is the latest entry in Namco Bandai's long-running "Tales of" RPG series, which saw recent North American releases in Tales of Xiliia and Tales of Graces f for the PlayStation 3. Namco Bandairecently detailed (http://www.joystiq.com/2014/01/05/tales-of-zestirias-protagonist-alicia-detailed/) Zestiria's combat mechanics, revealing that enemy encounters will feature "an evolved form of the current linear-motion battle system."
A North American release for Tales of Zestiria has not been announced, but series fans can look forward to localized versions of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (http://www.joystiq.com/game/tales-of-symphonia-chronicles) and Tales of Xillia 2 (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tales-of-xillia-2/) arriving stateside this year.
