Project: Linux for PS2

I am submitting as an project for my theses a Linux distro based on PS2 platform. Can anyone help me out on this?

You may want to look into the official PS2 Linux kit, it was a bundle of a HDD, network adaptor, USB keyboard/mouse, and the Linux discs.
