Banished out next month

Medieval city-building PC strategy game Banished launches on 18th February 2014, its developer has announced.The aim of Banished is to keep your city's population alive and grow it into a successful culture. To do this you must feed your people by hunting, gathering, agriculture, trade and fishing.The game is the work of just one person: Luke Hodorowicz, aka Shining Rock Software. He worked as a professional graphics engine programmer making console games for about 10 years before going indie."Ah, I remember when I quit my job and thought I could make a game in one year," he wrote on the Shining Rock Software (http://www.shiningrocksoftware.com/?p=2066) website. "It took three times as long, but it was definitely worth it, and the process was really satisfying!"Banished doesn't have a price just yet, but it'll cost around $20.
