The Doom zero userbar is actually a new 9 level Doom game for PSP I made. It never got released though, because I asked about 5 people to make a BG for the Between-level. It literally got put on indefinite hold because of that; no one ever PMed me back with a result... :(

you put {img} and {/img} at the beginning and end of the url of the image. but replace the { and } with [ and ] respectively. i used those so it doesn't think I'm posting an image.

oh no. you have to upload it to a site first. try making an account here. (http://s172.photobucket.com/) its free. then click on the url of the "IMG Code" and it will copy it for you. just right click - paste into the message and it will add the image to your post.

Make your sig bigger and more flashy

I'd say use something better than paint, something that will let you work on multiple layers so you can move your characters about freely (have each one on a separate layer). You can then work on your background on another layer or layers. Layers will give you more freedom to experiment.

Photoshop would be ideal or if you want something free try something similar like GIMP. I've never used it so I can't offer any direct advice, but you'll need to learn how to make and modify selections so you can remove/cut out the characters from whatever source files you have and paste them into new layers. There are different ways of doing this such as using a lasso or marquee tools or a magic wand type tool to make slections based on pixel/area colours but these all work in different ways. I'd also learn how to use a pen tool to create vector-based paths which can also be converted to selections.

Well, this is how I'd do it photoshop anyway and GIMP appears to have similar tools and functions. Just don't expect too much from paint.

More info on GIMP here (http://www.gimp.org/), but like I said, I can't vouch for it as I've never used it.

If you want to take graphics seriously and perhaps pursue a job in the creative industries, then Photoshop really is the thing you should be learning. If you're just having a bit of fun, then try out various pieces of software until you find something that works for you.

Have you tried Gimp yet? Maybe it's worth a go in the absence of photoshop. It seems to offer layers and a good toolset judging from the screen shots on the gimp site and you can download the user manual too which should help you.

anyway we don't have much people here who do requests (prove me wrong by replying to this post ;) )

anyway the main reason why a person (photoshopper) wont take up the request is because your request was either dumb or did not make sense OR the idea is waaaaay to generalized

a good way for people to pick up what you want is by giving pictures (if you request a sig on anime and stuff i see that lots) because people SERIOUSLY DON'T like looking for pictures J_U_S_T for you

Also a color scheme or something you would expect from the sig would be nice (i personally don't like people who ask for these because i like some flexibility to what im going to try and photoshop a graphic)

anyway yeah i guess that answered most of your questions and who knows? i might consider making it for you if no one does (its annoying when two people do a sig request)

Well, I was new to that, and I really didn't know how to do it, so maybe my request is a little bit difficult and stupid. But I have dial up and it'll take forever to download anything. I tried downloading Haruka Kinata from the Naruto soundtrack I found on NarutoChuushin. Took too long and never downloaded. So forget the Photoshop download. But if you could make me the Gaara and Tayuya avvie I requested and an animated stick figure siggy that would be great. If you wanna do the siggy I can explain it to you.
