PSP slim verifications

I will be getting a PSP Slim in a couple of weeks, after giving up with a broken PSP for 4 months. I just want to make sure everything I am going to is correct:

1. charge PSp Slim
2. Download totalnewbieasyinstaller from pspupdates.qj.net
3. extract Rar file to desktop
4. open up PSP Phat battery
5. with a safety pin, lift the bottom right pin on the 8-pin "board"
6. either glue up or celetape battery back together
7. PUT IN ORIGINAL PSP SLIM BATTERY AT THIS POINT
8. boot up PSP Slim with a PRO DUO inside
9. Go to "system settings" in the options tab
10. go to "format memory stick"
11. format the memory stick
12. plug in the PSP via USB
13. go to USB mode
14. open "14749_TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu"
15. run "START.exe" as Administrator - as i am running vista
16. follow the instructions
17. when at a choice between 1-5, select "3", as this will create a PSP Slim JigKick memory stick
18. when its done, turn the PSP slim off
19. remove the battery from the PSP Slim
20. remove the JigKick from the card reader in the Computer
21. put the JigKick memory stick in the PSP Slim
22. put the Pandora Battery from PSP Phat into the PSP Slim
23. will boot up automatically
24. the screen will be blank, but this is normal.
25. press X
26. this will not take long, only a few seconds
27. PSP will turn off automatically.
28. take out PAndora battery and replace normal PSP Slim battery.
29. turn the psp slim on.
30. will now be running 3.60 M33

the only thing i am unsure on is if this is going to work on vista, but that is getaroundable (if thats a word!)

it looks ok to me. you might be able to select 4 not 3, as this will install 3.71 M33, not sue though, will have to make sure

EDIT: just looked at the asyinstaller, and number 4 says Dark Alex universal (for PHAT and SLIM) or something like that.

Just format your memory stick with your psp slim, run number 4 with a card reader, once its done take it out of the pc, pop it into ur psp slim, put in ur PSP PHAT pandora battery and you should see something on the screen, depend on which one DA released is in the package.
