it says it comes with a third party joy pad, but the pic shows that bulky peice of poo... does it come with the joy pad controller that I love so much?

Who cares? - it's widescreen portable DC, just plug whatever controller you want in the damn thing!.

Yah.. i think i can survive with just the widescreen thing though...

It's neat - but it doesn't look like it'd be eye pleasing when closed.

Unless you like your consoles to look like they have wings. ;)

Plus no dc games where designed for widescreen so your just getting a streched picture. If only the other one had a backlite screen.

What are you talking about ?? A lot of games has widescreen option. I dont remember in this time but for one eg: Rayman 2
