Rockstar's crime opus Grand Theft Auto V (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/377455/gta-5-everything-you-need-to-know/) was the best-selling game across North America last year, according to sales monitor NPD.
The Xbox 360 and PS3 title, which is now threatening to become the top-selling standalone game ever, topped a best-selling list which was dominated by annualised series.
