Well, I have Vista and XP installed on my PC, but only using XP. But now I wanna use Vista...:rolleyes:

All this supposedly re-written code and they're still using the old, crappy, crash-prone shell......
Did they just change the layout of things in annoying ways that cannot be fully reverted to xp(and prior) style and be done with it?

I got an update for my chipset from microsoft, then it asked me to reboot and my PC didnt come on till i got it back from the shop! it kept crashing at the microsoft loading screen. i hate vista :(

HAHA...i got a new computer last weekend...so much incompatibility with old software and stuff :( I thought it had got better by now...

Do you even have 64bit vista, or is the incompatibility just the whole UAC/setting things to run as admin issue?

I assume its both. To my knowledge Windows hasn't come up with a way to run 32-bit code for Vista-64 systems.
