It sounds like this is a very nice improvement over the last release. I definitely need too check this out, especially since I just built a crazy new 3ghz core 2 duo with 4 gb ddr2 ram and a 8800gt =) Hmm will this work in Vista Unlimited 64? Guess I'll have to try and find out. Many thanks!

Now this is a release worth having. By far the best Dreamcast emulator to date. Damn fine job. LOVE IT! I love the extra geometry feature, looks very nice with that on, on a widescreen with max resolution. If anyone else is having the "no d3dx9_35.dll" error, go to this site http://www.m3fe.com/760/ and download it and paste it into ur system32 folder.

After i downloaded "Blue Stinger" for Sega Dreamcast i was looking for a good emulator to play the game, i downloaded: dreamemu and Chankas, but neither one worked. When i tried this emulator the game started nicely, but i can't go foward cause my keyboard and joystick don't respond, I look everywhere for the controls, but i didn't find them. Can someone tell me where can i configure the controllers? It will be nice if someone helped me :D. Thx and have a great day

It's because you downloaded the game, and the rules (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/announcement.php?f=23&a=4) say piracy is not allowed.

Great !!! This emul works great on my #$$¨% PC - Turion 2.0, 1.5ddr, 256 video Radeon Shared memory !!!!

If anyone still having troble, just delete the config file, and try again, config the rights plugins (you must restart the emulator)

Just started to play about with this great emulator and have a few questions....

1. How do i get the program to remember my control configs, when i exit the program it clears all my controller settings?

2. How do you quit a game/emulator when runnign fullscreen mode, i have tried every button and cannot quit the emulator?

3. How do you hide the mouse pointer in full screen mode?

4. Are the best plug-in already bundled with the emulator (1.6b) and what are they?

thanks

HP G70 Notebook
intel pentium dual core T3400 processor 1MB cache 2.17 GHZ
3BG DDR2 RAM
Intel GMA mobile (I think this is the let down)

Define "terrible"? I've just begun to play around with nullDC (version 1.0.3) now that I've finally managed to grab my BIOS, and I haven't had any issues with sound except for in the BIOS. I did have to go to Options -> Aica -> Config and set the buffer size to 2048. The description here says that this is required for Windows Vista; Given your notebook's specs, I assume you're also using Vista. Also, try disabling "Use Hardware Mixing" if it isn't already, and make sure Options -> Aica -> DSP Emulation is unchecked.

Oh, and if you aren't getting a full frame rate, that will also drag it down. Try reducing/disabling some of the options for your PowerVR plugin, and reduce your fullscreen resolution to 640x480 (720x480 for widescreen; Set your "Aspect Ratio" setting to "Borders"). It may make the games look worse (still better resolution than a TV), but it will increase your speed.
