Blizzard's digital collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft (http://www.joystiq.com/game/hearthstone-heroes-of-warcraft) has entered open beta, and is now available (http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/12440010) as a free download for Windows and Mac in North America.
Originally announced at PAX East in 2013 (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/22/watch-blizzards-pax-east-announcement-right-here/), Hearthstone saw a lengthy closed beta test in advance of today's launch. Ports for iOS and Android are set to premiere later this year (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/11/10/hearthstone-coming-to-ios-android-in-2014-beta-launching-next/).
While Hearthstone is currently available only in North America, Blizzardannounced (https://twitter.com/blizzardcs/status/425750712039923712) that players in other regions can expect to join the open beta "within the next few days."
