I just happened to compile it for myself; Just though I'd share it.

All the hard work goes to ccm304, cpayeur.
Few notes:
> Just remember to use the CIRCLE button instead of X for select.
> I suggest setting "Fast images to TRUE" in settings.

Installation:
Copy to GAME [w/ 3.xx KERNEL] or to GAME3xx folder.

So this means no convertion or anything, this prog reads pdf format?

If so, it is great, I'll give it a try

edit: it is in fact great, with a really polished interface and very intuitive, works great with text documents

just a minor detail: I wanted to use it to read some comics I downloaded but as they are only images covering all the page, they wont show.

Yeah, I've been using this for a bit now, and it's very nice. My only question is, is there any word on whether or not they can get it to work with the music.prx, or is that an issue on the plugin side? If so, anyone know if there's work being done toward that end? Getting it to work with more homewbrew

this is not the only one for those kernels (which are actually all kernels except 1.00) at all.

there's PSP PDF and dozens of other standalone and irshell releases of bookr. actually, the current irshell has this plugin... and reads em straight from the file selector

This is nice. This version loads PDFs without crashing for me. The previous versions of bookr the pdfs would cause my psp to crash after changing pages.

works for me i got 3.71m33-4

all i did was copy the Bookr0.713xx folder into PSP>GAME

then put the pdf file into the PSP>GAME>Bookr0.713xx>BOOKS

Wonder if some one can help....dont mean to steal the thread but I have tried everything to get bookr running....PSP Slim CFW 3.71 M33
tried all versions of bookr and none work. Reports that can not run game. Followed instructions to the letter. No joy

I've been dealing with a same problem and im using version 3.90 I've followed ALL the direction that's been asked, redownloaded everything 5 times and no luck. Im not sure what im doing wrong.....

Damn, your right. I spent the whole day yesterday reading articles and forums to see why it wasn't working. My old psp crashed when i tried adding these kinds of things to it (memory stick wouldnt read) and i told myself i would stop but here i am again. Even worse my psp is version 3.90. Can anyone direct me the right way and where to go with this?

The only way, if I remember correctly is using the Pandora method. This method is common so there should be enough tutorials out there for you to find easily enough. Just google "Pandora Battery". :)

It's corrupt for me as well... you might want to re-load the file. Doesn't seem to be working for everyone.

Or.. u could get a datel battery, if ur scared of doing ur own psp battery, they're cheap. Then u just make a magic memory stick (various ways, google it) and ur done, then use this 3.xx build of Bookr (assuming u have got cfw 3.xx loaded on ur PSP) and add you PDFs and ur away.

As for Bookr, the original non-3.xx build did not work in M33 3.71-4 for me, even under 1.5 kernal.
However this one did, I put in the the MemStick:/PSP/GAME371/

Thanks for this - I have a PDF comic that i wanted on my psp for ages.
Only one thing -
Most of the pages show as:
Error on page x: symtaxerror: Page missing mediabox

Has any work been done since this release ? As for the pdf's I use it seems really slow unless I put on fast images which makes it really unstable...

I read somewhere someone has been adding more features to it a search etc but I cant find any info.. anyone know ?

Hey thanks for this. I have a small problem am using CFW4.01M33-2 wen I use it try n view *.prc n *.pdf files it switches off the psp. I changed kernel to 1.50 n it still did the same thing. It reads txt fine. Any work arounds?

i got PSP CFW3.71 m33-2 ,i copied the folder to game371 and didn't work for me (the folder contains eboot and books folder)then copied pdfs ...in game icons we see a corrupted icon..help

It works.

However, i can only read one page! to advance i have to select, 'next ten pages' but then i can only read the first page of the ten pages...what am i doing wrong? or is it the pdf that's too big? I'm trying to read my camera manual :)
