http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/11/ps4-mobile-app.jpg (http://www.engadget.com/2014/01/31/playstation-mobile-app-update/)The latest update for Sony's PlayStation mobile app (http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/13/ps4-mobile-apps-1.50-update-roll-out/) is out for Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scee.psxandroid) and iOS (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/playstation-app/id410896080?mt=8), and it's surprisingly video-focused. Thanks to the new Live from PlayStation section, available game streams can be browsed directly from your device -- although they won't open in the app itself. Ustream (http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/27/ustream-playstation-4-interview/) feeds open in the service's own application (at least on Android), while T (http://twitct.tv/)witch.tv (http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/26/twitch-android-app-update/) streams are relegated to your mobile device's browser. The change log also notes that video notifications from the PS Store are supported, and you'll find them under the What's New section on the home screen. Additionally, the update promises to not pull yourPS4 (http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/14/sony-playstation-4-review/) out of sleep mode when you open the app to, say, accept a friend request or queue a game download -- perfect if you're looking to conserve a little electricity.
