Tomodachi Collection: New Life (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tomodachi-collection/) is coming to North America, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has confirmed to the Wall Street Journal (http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2014/01/29/nintendo-walks-fine-line-between-change-and-identity/). Iwata didn't provide a time table for the Western launch. A Nintendo representative told Joystiq that the company "has nothing to announce at this time."
Tomodachi Collection, which translates to Friend Collection, is a series where Miis interact with one another across a variety of everyday activities, like going out to dinner and playing in a band. The first Tomodachi Collection launched on the DS in 2009, was turned into a TV show (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/28/nintendos-tomodachi-collection-now-a-tv-show/) a year later, then made its debut on the 3DS in 2013 with Tomodachi Collection: New Life.
