We've found some pictures on a Japanese Web site which show off both an exposed view of the controller's insides as well as the rumble effect of the motors.

As expected it's a similar twin-motor set-up to the previous Dual Shock 2, Sony having turned down Immersion's newer, more streamlined technology.

I just think its disgusting that this wasn't bundled with the PS3 on launch day!

$ony just couldnt resist making even more money from consumers. :(

Sony and Immersion legal battles made it impossible to do so.

Sony and Immersion legal battles made it impossible to do so.

I appreciate that but MS did the right thing and settled their case in 2003 with a payment of $20m and the purchase of a stake in Immersion for around $6m... But Sony decided to fight on??

If only $ony had of just settled many moons ago then consumers wouldn't have to dip into their pockets again now to own something that they should have had with their consoles anyway.
