Microsoft will next week release its first post-launch Xbox One update.
Arriving on February 11th, the automatic download will add the ability to manage the console’s storage space (game saves, downloads and the like), while separating My Games and My Apps into separate lists.
It will also introduce additional control of the download queue, allowing users to select which content is downloaded first. A new boot progress indicator is being added as well.
Also included is USB keyboard support and a controller battery power indicator for the homescreen.
A further March 4th update is also on the way that is designed specifically to prep the machine for the arrival of Titanfall. The changes focus mainly on the console’s party and multiplayer systems.
“[The update] features many new improvements – including lots of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for Xbox One, several new features we believe Xbox fans will love, stability and product updates to improve the customer experience, and continuous improvements to the quality of Kinect voice so commands become more fluid and responsive over time,” chief product officer Marc Whitten said.
