IRShell & MultiTasking

I want to use MapThis! to log mountainbike trails I ride....While playing MP3's in IRShell.

From MapThis! if I press LTrigger and Select I can swap back to IRShell but whenever I swap back to MapThis! I end up at the map select screen (which make sense due to the Select keypress) This also ends my GPS data recording.

Any ideas for running Mapthis! and having MP3 playback without the above mentioned problem?

It would be handy though if mapthis had a user config which specificates the controls.

I would like that too, no more Ltrigger for left turn for example.
