ipod nanom problem please help

ok so i took my ipod nano apart, and to get down to the point

you know the ribbon plastic wiring that holds the hold switch module? well i tore it half way by accident and one of the "tracks" was torn right in half, now the hold switch doesnt work :(

anyway, i have soldering tools and all kinds of wiring here, is there ANYWAY i can fix this type of problem, like how could i solder the two tracks together?

and if its the hold button i wouldnt worry so much.
at least it wasnt something more important right?

you might be able to fix it.
but what do i know about ipods.
