Squids Odyssey (http://www.joystiq.com/game/squids) has slingshotted past its 2013 fall release date (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/08/10/squids-odyssey-propels-itself-at-3ds-and-wii-u-this-fall/) on the 3DS and Wii U eShop and is readjusting itself to target this spring. Odyssey is a turn-based, tactical RPG that lets players fight battles by flinging ocean life into their foes. Antagonists have been mutated by an ooze-like pollutant, but they don't seem keen on using their powers for good like our half-shelled friends (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles).

Odyssey is a compilation of existing entries Squids (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/28/squids-sinks-into-ios-on-oct-13/) and Squids Wild West (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/23/squids-wild-west-hits-this-summer-free-preview-update-for-ios-o/), but it adds a new campaign, a new Squid hero and reworked controls for the Wii U and 3DS. Players can assemble teams from 15 Squids across four classes to take on Odyssey's 90+ missions. There are also more than 65 stat-boosting helmets to strap onto Squids, in case you were worried about safety gear for your arsenal of sea-creature bullets.
