Hi, first post on the forums, so I say hi to everyone.

Would just like to as a question about my mates PSP

He's bought a second hand psp (white version) and wants to downgrade the firmware to play homebrew etc.

The firmware is 2.82 but I've read that it cannot be downgraded as it has IC1003 on the inside of the UMD slot

I've read lots of sites that say it cannot be done, but I wanted to know if there is anyway around this.

I currently have a 3.52 M33 Black PSP (originally a 1st gen 1.5) and mine isnt a IC1003 board so I had no problems.

It would be nice if I could get my mates running 3.52 M33 also.

Can anyone give me any pointers?

Cheers

Pete

make a pandora battery and magic memory stick.

Use it in your mates PSP, revert battery if needed.
