After all the delays, does Gran Turismo 5 Prologue live up to expectations? Definitely, says Famitsu, who has given the game (or extended demo) a near-perfect review score.

39/40 (that's 10, 10, 9, 10, for those who can't add) was the score on the door - higher than any other racing game in the present generation of racers, with Forza 2 having got 36/40 and PGR 4 settling for 33/40.

That's a near perfect score for what is essentially a cut-down demo of the full-fat game due for release next year.

We can't say we're surprised though - have you seen these shots? It looks incredible.

it really doesnt, and the fact is they should concentrate on getting the game out rather than making demos that we have to pay for, or well end up with gt4 for psp all over again

Unsurprising - the Gran Turismo franchise is excellent.
