3.73 HX-1 Custom Firmware Released!

HellDashX’s has released a new custom firmware for you lovers of upgrading to the latest firmware

Heres whats new:

3.73 HX-1 changes:

All changes & features in 3.73
Vshctrl- Fix the corrupt icon which was show in Game
A new IPL for the Slim & Fat

Make sure you are already running an existing custom firmware version before installing, if in doubt ask in forums first.

this is a hex of 3.72 M33, and can only be installed from 3.52 M33

It's always nice to see more Custom Firmwares in the work. Even if they are not worth installing with Dark_AleX around.

where the hell are the credits to dax? what is up with this developer? sheesh!

future news posters of this guys' releases, if he continues to fail to mention dax, then do so for him.

and also, do not say "has released a new version of his custom firmware" or anything similar to that, rather "has ported dax's work to X.XX"

I would stick to 3.72 m33 firmware because this one has many bugs which makes it worse. For example you can no use the recovery mode, when you try the psp freezez. Since there is no acess to the recovery mode you can not set 1.5 kerrnel, even if it was set before you upgrade. This firmware is not worth upgrading and i would not advise to dnt makt the mistake like me because I CANT DOWNGRADE BACk i have to wait for a new update.

I don't know if these firmwares will prove to be worthy, hope they will, cause the more firmwares out there, the less chances of being left behind

If this is based off of Dark_AleX and Mathieulh's work and not credited as such I'd stay away from it.

Its my opinion that 3.71 M33-4 with the new popsloader is the superior custom firmware for both classic and Slim PSP's.

Hah joke, find a friend with a Custom Firmware and ask him to make you a Pandora's Battery. Don't ask me "what the hell is that?" , if he has a PSP Custom Firmware he will know so let him explain you. Good luck.

Well ive got pandora and need to go to 3.73 to use remote play on ps3 so if it works its not just a hex of.72.. if it doesnt i'll just reflash to 3.71 m33-4 let you know in a min..hmmm gonna have to wait a while, battery too low........................................ Updated. Remote play works fine. no recovery menu. no working homebrew that i use. dgen/bookr/magicpsp/snes9xtyl/nesterj none of them working in any folder. M33 vsh menu is present. wonder how this was stuck together and why if using m33 vsh not the recovery?????????

Does this new custom firmware support remote play w/PS3?


PS: I haven't been updating to new cf's ever since I got a brick from going from 3.52m33-4 to 3.71m33 or something like that w/ one of my PSP.
I'll get an additional battery to do the Pandora's unbricker or something...
