ok so i searched for hours on google yesturday for cheap mobile phones, and i finally cam across this web page that said all these phones for sale bla bla bla and it had 3 email adresses. I was talkign to one on msn just now and i want your opinion on wether this seems legit or not, here is the conversation. (I'm "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" and david is the seler)

They call themselves an "authorized dealer" all authorized dealers of apple products have to sell at a Set Retail Price which they are not allowed to change officially.

Thats a big loop hole in his sales pitch...

i wount go with it just because you will be giving some guy your info for a phone, not worth it, its best to buy at a place or site publicly well known so like that you run no real risk of you know getting robed out of your money like so many have been.

Definitally not legit, i have been burned once, a long time ago, so i have become very very cautious about these things, i only buy from ebay now, or i buy in person, its just too easy for people to rip you off like that.

LOL at push for your details after failing to answer a question. If they are legit, they're not doing themselves much justice. Also, last I checked iPhones haven't been sold without being locked to a network, hence the effort to unlock as opposed to importing. That kinda blows the whole "unopened+unlocked" thing outta the water.

lol, my tips for buying are:

Use eBay - pay via PayPal

Buy via a trusted site, Google search for site reviews before buying from a site you've never heard of (cause others might of bought from it).

Never buy from someone who lists at least 100+ phones and other devices from within a forum, they don't have the merchandise they are most probably from Nigeria and looking for a quick scam.

Never buy from anywhere that doesn't have a site review that can be found on Google.

And finally, never buy from someone over an Instant Message client as they will personally keep your details for fraudulent uses later.
